Refund and Return Policy

Introduction

At FIRSTCORSET, we adhere to the principle of "quality first, customer foremost." We have a QA team to check your order products before they are packed and sent, but sometimes a return or an exchange is necessary. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please take advantage of our cancellation policy and return policy.

For issues not mentioned below, please email firstcorset@gmail.com with an explanation and photographs stating the reason for your request.

Cancellation Before Payment

  • Sign into "My Account" and click on "My Orders."
  • Click on the order number that you would like to cancel.
  • Click on “Delete this order” and confirm that you want to cancel it.

Cancellation After Payment

Please note that we may offer different cancellation policies based on the product category:

Clothing Category:

  • Orders cancelled within 2 hours will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled after 2 hours will incur a 15% handling and restocking fee.
  • Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

School Backpacks, Costumes, Hoodies & Sweatshirts, Dresses Category:

  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of payment confirmation will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled beyond 24 hours after payment confirmation will be eligible for a partial refund, consisting of the full shipping cost and 50% of the product purchase price.
  • Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

Tips:

  • The deductions are for restocking/processing fees.
  • For clothing and accessories, you'll receive an extra 5% of the product purchase price if you agree to have the refund back into your FIRSTCORSET account.

Return Policy

We encourage you to thoroughly check your package upon receipt and ensure the items are as specified. If you need to exchange or return a product, please ensure it is in its original condition, unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. We cannot accept exchanges or returns once your order has been shipped.

Specific Return Policy

Clothing Category:

  • If the item you received is not as described on our website or does not fit, you can email firstcorset@gmail.com to request a return or exchange within 15 days.
  • The request must include the order number, item code(s), reason for return, and photographs showing the issue.
  • Once approved, our customer service will provide the return address. Send the item back and provide the tracking number.
  • All returned items will be inspected. If the item has the stated problem, we will reship the correct item or process a refund.

General Return Notes:

  • Deviation within 2cm is normal. Color may vary by monitor.
  • One-size items, socks, tights, intimate apparel, and swimwear cannot be exchanged or returned.
  • Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, without any perfume smell, with tags intact, and in the original package.

Sizing or Fitting Issues

All of our products are hand-sewn and customized. To ensure a perfect fit, our tailors reserve a margin of 1 inch on either side of a seam for minor modifications.

Size Deviation

  • If the actual size of your item differs from the order by more than 1 inch, we encourage local alterations and will compensate up to 100% of the tailoring cost. Alternatively, you can send the item back to us for resizing or a partial/full refund.

Correct Size but Unfit

  • If the item matches the order specifications but does not fit perfectly, it cannot be returned or exchanged. You may seek local tailoring services at your own cost. If the order specifications differ significantly from the final sizing request, resizing may not be possible.

Color Mismatch

Computer screen settings may alter the color of the pictures shown on the site. Slight color mismatches do not mean the item is defective. If you believe you received the wrong color, please contact customer service for a return or refund.

Defective, Damaged, Mis-shipped Items

You are eligible for a partial/full refund or exchange if we shipped a defective, damaged, or mis-shipped item. If the item was damaged during shipping, obtain "Proof of Damage" documentation from the delivery carrier for the return package.

Return Process

  • Contact customer service (firstcorset@gmail.com) within the required time for the product category. Include an explanation and photographs of the issue.
  • Once approved, customer service will provide the return address. Send the item back and provide the tracking number. Ensure the items are unused, undamaged, and in the original package.
  • All returned items will be inspected. If the item has the stated problem, we will process the refund.

Please Note:

  • We reserve the right not to process the refund if the request is not approved or if items are returned in unacceptable condition.
  • Any purchase on firstcorset.com indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to our Cancellation & Return Policy.
